Today I published episode 20 of my podcast. I am pretty excited that I have been able to interview so many people in the last couple of months. In honor of the 20th episode, I have published an interview with Nick Wells. Nick is a really good friend, mentor, and ally of mine.
I met Nick shortly after I graduated from law school, about five years ago. At that time, Nick had recently moved from Connecticut to Utah, and he helped me get started in the legal industry. We have kept in touch over the years, and Nick continues to mentor me.
Nick is an incredible attorney, with a fascinating career path. He had a stable position at a large law firm, but decided he wanted to work and live in New York. Nick’s timing couldn’t have been worse because he moved in 2008, at the start of the financial crisis. Finding himself in a difficult position, Nick had to get creative to support his family. Over time, Nick built a profitable law firm that was large enough to be recruited by the large law firm he had previously left.Nick has great insight on taking risks as an entrepreneur, learning from mistakes, and being creative. We had a great time putting together this interview, and I hope you enjoy listening to it. You can can listen to the podcast on here iTunes or Stitcher.
